Our signature tour introduces local culinary and wine culture through classic Istrian flavors, unique wines and stunning history. Istria, being a rather small destination, is packed with a wide range of tastes and scents, and all of it is produced from the highest quality natural ingredients.

Due to its distinct shape and the fact that it is almost completely surrounded by the sea, Istria has access to highest quality fresh marine delicacies. Its continental part is in charge of producing the best olive oil in the world because it’s just too small for mass production, so instead the producers are focused on quality instead of quantity. And let’s not forget that it is one of the best regions in the world for hunting the elusive white truffle…Throw in some amazing wine and prosciutto, and you get a gastronomical adventure you’ll rememeber for the rest of your life.

On day one you will arrive to Istria and check in to the hotel. After the meeting with your tour guide the rest of the first day is off.

On day two your Istrian journey begins. Today you will discover prosciutto, olive oil and wine. First you will head to the town of Vodnjan which is famous for some of the best olive oils in the world and some amazing prosciutto producers. There you will take a walk through its narrow streets while listening to the stories of its amazing history and visit an olive oil producer where you will have a tasting of his superb products. After the tasting you will go to the prosciutto producer where you will first have a tasting of his cured meat products and then get served wit lunch made from their varios products. After the lunch you will go to the hidden gem of Istria – the town of Bale. After sightseeing you will visit a wine producer where you will learn more about the techniques by which they produce their amazing wine which you will ofcourse try. After the tasting you will head back to the hotel.

Today you will start your day with a cup of coffee next to the old fishermans docks in the city of Pula, which is only right because today you discover the amazing Istrian seafood. After coffe you will visit the aquarium where you will learn about the mediterranean flora and fauna. When you finish the tour of the aquarium you will head to the protected nature park Cape Kamenjak where you will enjoy the nature and the sea while we will prepare a grilled seafood lunch for you. After the lunch you will head to the local wine producer for another tasting of amazing istrian wines. There is nothing more to do after that than to head back to the hotel and enjoy the late afternoon in your cozy room or take a walk by the seaside.

Today you will have a day off, in which we recommend you explore the city of Pula on your own.

Today you will visit one of the most famous hilltop towns of istria – the town of Motovun. There you will take a stroll through its amazing narrow cobbled streets and admire the breathtaking views. After enjoying Motovun you will embark on a truffle hunt where you will almost certainly hunt down your todays lunch. When you do “catch” it you will take it to the local tavern where it will get transformed in to one of the most amazing lunches ever. But, your day is not over there, you still have to visit the city of Buzet where, after a short stroll, you will get to visit a liquor production facility where you will, of course, get to try numerous amazing liquors. Then you can call it a day, and head back to your hotel.

Today is another day off, we recommend visiting the gem of the mediterranean – the city of Rovinj, or alternatively, the istrian hotsprings.

On your last day you will participate in one of our favourite Istrian tours. First you will visit the magical hilltop town of Grožnjan where you will have time to discover it on your own. After that you will visit the nearly abandoned village of Završje where you will be able to see how life after peopole really looks like. After Završje you will visit the town of Oprtalj where you will get to have an amazing traditional lunch in one of the best taverns in whole Istria. After lunch you will head back to your hotel.

After breakfast you will check-out and head back home.
